As a member of the Finance and Administration team, you will play an active role in the analysis and production of quality  financial information related to our various projects and budget procedures. You will have the opportunity to work on optimizing and maintaining internal controls with your colleagues while conducting analyses and audits. Your expertise, analytical capabilities and ingenuity will allow you to optimize procedures, formulate recommendations, and develop and implement accounting tools and produce management reports.

What you will achieve

  • You will actively participate in the annual budget process by conduction analyses, producing financial projections and conducting financial monitoring and producing reports;
  • You will use your expertise to improve procedures and develop tools and reports in order to facilitate decision making and ensure financial data integrity and accuracy;
  • You will collaborate in producing, analyzing and interpreting financial statements from DID and its subsidiaries;
  • You will ensure production of management information reports and follow-up of performance indicators;
  • You will develop, implement and oversee the effectiveness of internal control methods required for the protection of DID assets and its financial systems;
  • You will contribute to the financial evaluation and profitability analysis of various projects;
  • You will be in charge of coordinating the independent audit process at year end;
  • You will implement an evaluation plan for DID internal control mechanisms;
  • You will participate in monitoring and reporting on cash flows related to investments;
  • You will monitor DID currency exchange risk and ensure risk mitigation strategies and follow-up when required;
  • Your vigilance will contribute to managing and monitoring loan agreements and foreign exchange line agreements with financial institutions.

 Do you recognize yourself in *this* profile?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or other relevant discipline and have a CPA professional designation;
  • You possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience;
  • You are proficient in the field of internal controls and/or audit methods;
  • You are fully proficient in the use of MS Office tools and have in-depth knowledge of Excel;
  • You are proficient in collaborative management information technology tools such as Power BI;
  • You have previous experience with Microsoft Great Plains accounting software; this will be considered an asset;
