General responsibilities of the position :

  • The Finance, Procurement and Industrialization group specializes in the following financial mandates:
  •  Planning, forecasting and comparison of financial activities;
  •  Preparation, consolidation, analysis and documentation of financial data used to summarize and measure progress, evaluation of business plans, identification of variances and predictions of results;
  •  Key Partner for the Procurement group ensuring the understanding and integrity of the financial information required for decision-making;
  •  Collaboration within the strategic and operational orientations and decisions of the Procurement group.

Specific responsibilities of position :
Under the responsibility of the Associate Director Finance, Procurement and Industrialization, the Senior Financial Advisor, Planning and Financial Analysis will be assigned to support partners within the Supply Chain group. The candidate will support the group especially in their budget planning activities and presentation of business plans for various projects. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for consolidating the financial performance of all organizations in the Procurement Group, including preparing financial reports, analyzing annual budget variances and forecasts, and coordinating the annual budget cycle.

The Senior Advisor will have the following main responsibilities:

  •  Consolidation and presentation of monthly financial results related to operational and non-quality costs and variance analysis;
  •  Preparation and consolidation of financial planning activities in the short and medium term;
  •  Preparing presentations to senior management regarding financial results;
  •  Coordination and preparation of the annual budget exercise for operational costs;
  •  Ensure the maintenance of internal controls;
  •  Training support of financial processes related to the supply chain group in partnership with the organization of business process management (BPM).

Required qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in business administration, specialization in Accounting and Finance (an asset) with 4 to 6 years of experience in a business unit accounting role in a large or medium-sized company;
  •  CPA title required;
  •  Oral and written communication in English and French (bilingual);
  •  Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
  •  Strong skills with Microsoft Excel (mandatory), Powerpoint, and knowledge of SAP (an asset);
  •  Able to support a highly dynamic environment;
  • Adaptability, autonomy, good team spirit and a positive attitude.
