Position Overview:

Our internal Finance team is looking for a highly motivated, strategically minded and dynamic individual to support our Financial practice.


  • Work closely with the leadership team, Talent Advisors, Resource Management and Learning groups to assist in developing long term and annual financial plans, forecasts and short-term financial outlooks using a range of predictive tools.
  • Provide analyses to support weekly and periodic overviews of financial and operating performance. Propose appropriate course of action based on areas of concern or opportunities for improvement
  • Measure and report on strategic initiatives aligned to our business and financial plans
  • Assist in Building and maintaining financial models to support management decision making
  • Assist Leadership in managing investment levels by monitoring work-in-progress and accounts receivable, ensuring that each is appropriately valued and recommending the necessary actions to ensure that aging WIP or AR are deal with.
  • Provide support to ensure the appropriate accounting entries are recorded at the end of each period and year end with respect to accruals, reserves and prepaid expenses.
  • Participate in various strategic Firmwide initiatives as opportunities arise. Foster integration and collaboration across services and enabling areas.

  • Degree in business/commerce including relevant professional designation (CPA,CA, CPA,CMA, CGA)
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in a finance role in a fast paced and progressive professional services environment
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen
  • Strategic thinker who is able to drive business initiatives and deliver insights
  • Demonstrate management and leadership potential
  • Strong inter-personal skills. Ability to win respect and credibility of the leadership team
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in interpreting firm policies and objectives
  • Ability to view issues with a wide lens without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Able to work with time-sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Customer focused, proactive and results-oriented
  • Strong aptitude for systems and data management
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Excel
  • Previous experience with Cognos suite (Cognos Workspace Advanced), and SAP an asset
  • Knowledge of professional services firm or similar practice an asset
