Responsible for the prospection, solicitation, development and maintenance of the business relationship with a clientele composed mainly of cooperatives and non-profit organizations working in the commercial market with a view to growth of the Society.

Main responsibilities:

Business Development and Visibility

  • Act as account manager, that is to say, be the privileged link between the Company and the clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs to discuss business issues with them in order to diagnose issues, provide advice, and prepare, where appropriate, an appropriate IQ service offer for their business needs. 'business.
  • Be responsible for a portfolio of financial interventions and its profitability.
  • Ensure the growth and retention of existing portfolio clients while acquiring new clients and creating a pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Be active in the business community by optimally targeting value-added activities to promote the Corporation's reputation and solicit referrals that will facilitate the acquisition of new clients.
  • Identify the most promising projects and encourage companies or partners to avail themselves of the services of the Company.
  • Ensure sound risk management for the entire portfolio under his responsibility.
  • Ensure proper use, updating and satisfaction with the products and services offered.
  • Analyze the sources of dissatisfaction and recommend possible solutions.
  • Stay abreast of changes in detailed policies, procedures and processes, and trends in credit and regulatory issues that may impact the Company.
  • Recommend strategies or solutions to achieve the Company's objectives such as increased business volume, sound risk management, portfolio profitability and improved business relationships.
  • Conduct a lookout to identify business development opportunities to support the competitiveness of IQ's products and services.
  • Organize various promotional activities related to the activities of the Society.
  • Act as an expert for account managers on financing strategies.
  • Accompany account managers in meetings or negotiations when the complexity of the case as well as the nature of the funding require it.
  • Collaborate with the unit director, professionals or other managers of the Corporation, particularly with respect to commercial financing.

Administration and monitoring

  • In collaboration with the technician, maintain the business relationship with the portfolio clients and recover the amounts owed by the companies in arrears.

Specific qualifications required:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or any other relevant discipline.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant business financing professional experience.
  • Have knowledge of financial analysis techniques, collateral and usual financing standards.
  • Master French (spoken and written).
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is an asset.
