Specific accountabilities
This is a new role within in the operating group and as such, the incumbent will be self-starter as they develop the role to service the analytical requirements of operations group servicing the retail real estate portfolio. Analysis within operational portfolio includes property management, property financial controls, security, sustainability and procurement.
Operations Performance: Coordination and analysis of data related to property, asset class or national portfolio to source benchmarking, explain variances and provide recommendations for optimal operational performance;
Regularly update and produce reports supporting key metrics, performance indicators and benchmarking for various departments in the operations group (property management, security, sustainability, project management);
Unifier: Responsible for the data stewardship of Unifier data management tool related to processes and systems such as workflow controls, data deadlines, data migration, capital book information management, testing and training of Unifier modules for mid-level managers;
Provide review and analysis for benchmarks of various major capital expenditures;
Financial: Candidate will also be conduit for efficiencies for operating statistics/reporting between operations information and retail/corporate finance teams providing recommendations for consistent financial reporting from operations, creation of budget guidelines and property variance explanations;
Analyze data in Unifier to ensure accuracy and consistency recommending solutions as required for seamless integration of accurate data for various department needs;
