Under the responsibility of the Director Management of Revenue, the Area Manager has as main objectives the supervision of a team of analysts and the achievement of the objectives of unit revenue by searching for the best compromise between the load factor and the yield, fixed by the Management. The Manager works in strong collaboration with Pricing, Network, Revenue management systems (tools), Marketing and Sales teams.


Lead the team in order to achieve or exceeded the objectives of RASM; (revenue per available seat per miles)

  • Implement the RM strategy defined by the Management within the teams;
  • Ensure optimal continuity of inventory management with the teams;
  • Measure the performance of the team analysts;
  • Manage the follow-up meetings of the team;
  • Motivate, manage the team and act as a mentor;
  • Represent the Director of revenue management, if needed.

Realise the Predictive analyses needed to optimize inventories to maximize contribution to the network 

  • Ensure availability & tariffs in all distribution channels for major markets;
  • Suggest and implement inventory management strategies in collaboration with the partners (RMS/pricing);
  • Optimise and validate demand estimates for the markets;
  • Ensure the RMS system works well in collaboration with the RMS team;
  • Establish for each season the initial setting strategy by zone;
  • Contribute to the development of the revenue budget.

Monitor and report to analysts the opportunities

  • Define revenue optimization opportunities;
  • Notify RMS in case of divergence and suggest corrective actions;
  • Evaluate, analyse and carry out reporting on the performance of flights handled by Managers;
  • Develop priorities according to the requirements;
  • Prepare and present a series of documents and reports to the management.

Transversal activities

  • Realise Project Management of ad-hoc and participate in transversal projects;
  • Actively participate in transversal initiatives and promote exchanges and synergies with other services.


  • High analytical capacity, synthesis, anticipation and demonstration;
  • Mastery of statistical analysis techniques and forecasting techniques;
  • Strong ability to formalize recommendations to management;
  • Result oriented;
  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and act in a dynamic environment;
  • Creative, innovative, curious and endowed with a great capacity to influence and a spirit of initiative;
  • Proficient in IT management tools (Excel spreadsheets, power point, Word, DWH) and decision support techniques;
  • Sense of confidentiality;
  • Good knowledge of English in writing and oral.


  • BAC in a Scientific or Economic field (mathematics, optimization, Operations Research, statistics);
  • Experience of 5 years and more in a similar position or experience in the field of predictive analysis;
  • In depth experience in Revenue management (an asset);
  • Control of RM principles, systems and tools, including price elasticity and stimulation, supply and demand in the airline industry;
  • Ability to integrate O&D (View in the management of the flights (Origin & Destination)).
