UAP, a Canadian leader in the distribution and marketing of parts and accessories for automobiles and heavy vehicles, is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to complete its financial analysis team. In this capacity, you will contribute to the success of UAP's business opportunities by producing financial analyses based on the economic viability of business plans for corporate and associated stores. In particular, you will have to:

  • Carry out financial forecasts, analysis and review of documentation and business plans for associate and corporate stores for recommendation purposes;
  • Validate with internal and external stakeholders the various assumptions underlying the projects.
  • Obtain the necessary documentation in order to proceed with the transaction, review its accuracy and ensure its follow-up.
  • Ensures the structure of the files and adapts the content;
  • Maintains the analysis tools and improves the modeling on Excel;
  • Validates the choice of financing for the transactions of associated stores and ensures the financial viability of the project;
  • Calculate, determine and analyze the financial and operational parameters to assess the profitability of various corporate projects.
  • Present and coordinate projects with the accounting department and ensure their support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (finance option is an asset);
  • Recognized accounting designation;
  • 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Good knowledge of the following financial concepts: profitability, financing, net present value;
  • Knowledge of the distribution environment (asset);
  • Knowledge of MS Office (thorough knowledge of Excel);
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written);
