Controller

Sitka Forest Products Inc, a dynamic company working in the lumber industry for nearly twenty years is looking for a controller for its Montreal office.

The person we are looking for must have an acute sense of financial analysis, master the Microsoft Office suite and have a good knowledge of accounting software in addition to the two official languages (English and French). A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position, a recognized accounting designation and a strong sense of autonomy.

The main tasks are the complete month-end cycle, analysis of results, monthly internal financial statements, management of accounts receivable and billing. Preparation of audit files, monitoring of budget forecasts. This position also involves the supervision of a small team of 4 people.
