Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Treasurer, the Senior Analyst – Treasury will manage various day-to-day activities and provide the required support to the treasury department for data analysis and decision-making. Main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Ensure the daily management of cash flows through the banking systems, the management of treasury operations and the management of drawdowns and repayments of credit facilities;
  • Manage the structure of bank accounts, including opening accounts and tracking signing authorities;
  • Participate in the preparation of the quarterly remittance plan, including internal financings, taking into account all required elements;
  • Analyze and prepare month-end reports on debt, interest and bank charges;
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls;
  • Collaborate in the implementation and improvement of a cash management system, processes and reports;
  • Provide support to the M&A team for transactions requiring internal financing;
  • Support the integration of new payment technologies with the finance team to accelerate payments and improve their visibility;
  • Participate in the development of various financial analyses and reports on treasury and financial risk management;
  • Participate in projects to bring added value, improve processes and compliance, and contribute to cost reduction.

  • Demonstrated financial modelling skills;
  • Excellent ability to focus, work under pressure and tight deadlines, in a context of changing priorities;
  • Team spirit and strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Show initiative and curiosity, possess strong analytical skills.

Professional Requirements

  • University degree in Administration, Finance or another relevant discipline;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, corporate financing or any other relevant experience;
  • Recognized title (CPA, CFA), an asset;
  • Knowledge of international tax laws and IFRS standards, an asset;
  • Experience in managing foreign currency, an asset;
  • Experience in a company with multiple corporate entities and in a multinational environment, an asset;
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English), written and spoken; Spanish, an asset.
