Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director – Financial Planning and Analysis, the Analyst – Financial Performance (Investor Relations) will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Monitor the market environment, research reports, news, trading activity, corporate disclosure, conference calls, presentations and other sources of information about the company and its peers;
  • Provide a financial analysis of industry consensus based on a thorough understanding of the industry's main financial indicators;
  • Highlight trends and anomalies by collecting, consolidating and summarizing financial and non-financial information;
  • Create, manage and analyze financial models and databases, identifying main evaluation criteria and developing pro forma scenarios;
  • Participate in the preparation of quarterly reports and analyses, and of other deliverables for the company's quarterly results call;
  • Participate in the drafting of reports and executive summaries for senior management, presenting efficiently and accurately the positions of industry investors and analysts;
  • Support the communication of factual data to investors and analysts;
  • Prepare other analyses in support of Investor Relations activities;
  • Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to ensure a seamless flow of information;
  • Participate in various projects, as required.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Finance combined with 3 years of experience in Finance in a multinational company or a large professional services firm;
  • Recognized accounting designation (CPA or CFA) obtained or in progress, an asset;
  • Direct or indirect experience in corporate financing or in capital markets;
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of the Bloomberg financial data software;
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English), written and spoken; Spanish, an asset.
