Purpose

Responsible for supporting the development, design, implementation and execution of leadership learning strategies and programs, ensuring alignment with overall learning goals and objectives. This role develops learning solutions for leadership learning programs, supports the implementation of global leadership learning programs, and collaborates with internal partners and external vendors to optimize program development and deployment

Accountabilities

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Collaborates with internal business partners and external vendors to design and develop new course offerings using Learning & Development design principles through various deployment methods, including instructor-led, virtual, e-learning and social media
  • Supports the implementation and execution of global leadership learning strategies and programs, ensuring alignment with learning needs and requirements
  • Collaborates with Learning COE to ensure efficient learning delivery and logistics and alignment with overall learning goals and objectives
  • Collaborates with Learning COE to maintain understanding of leadership learning needs and requirements
  • Supports vendor selection and negotiation to enhance learning program implementation and deployment
  • Conducts research on leading trends and best practices on leadership learning implementation, identifies improvement/enhancement opportunities, and provides insights to Sr. Manager, Executive ILead and Leadership Learning Programs.
  • Provides expertise on matters related to leadership learning implementation
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct
  • Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment

Education/Other Experience

  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Adult Education or related field is an asset
  • Certified Training and Development Professional designation is an asset
  • Previous experience in learning program development
  • Strong knowledge of learning implementation processes and practices
  • Attentive to details; ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong project management skills and effective execution skills to ensure successful delivery/implementation of learning initiatives and programs
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing work environments
  • Results oriented and able to effectively execute in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of Bank’s business strategy and how Learning can support
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Spanish language skills are an asset
