The Headlines:

In the role of Finance Transformation Manager, you will be working out of our Toronto location you will be part of the Supply Chain Finance Team. This role operates in a business partnership capacity with the Supply Chain Organization and is the key finance business lead on transformation projects. You will be working directly with the project leadership team and will provide financial support and guidance on accounting issues as it relates to the projects. This role reports to the of Senior Manager, Capital Projects, Integration and Transformation.

The Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the project budgets and forecasting, analysing progress, report against actual expenses; and recommend actions to improve progress and drive value
  • Manage the transformation, start-up and specials budgets of the project team
  • Ensure period-end close processes are completed timely and accurately
  • Prepare and maintain periodic cash flow projections/forecasts
  • Performs technical accounting research and provides recommendations on accounting issues
  • Provides project recommendations, both capital vs. non-capital and provides SAP set-up requirements for cost centers and internal orders
  • Ability to understand and formulate the key drivers of the strategic transformation business cases and impact on supply chain synergy target deliverables
  • Operates as a proactive business partner to the Project Leadership Team, Directors of Capital Asset, Engineering and the Brewery Management Team to provide financial support, stewardship of project related processes and controls, and financial leadership
  • Provide analytical and strategic support around key capital and operating expense decisions
  • Ensuring spend and savings are tracked against transformation business cases
  • Manage multiple Business Partner relationships and delivery of business leader requirements (Senior leaders in Supply Chain)
  • Partner with supply chain teams to identify/analyze economic opportunities across the organization
  • Ongoing review cadence, validation and risk escalation of Transformation Projects
  • Manage multiple Business Partner relationships and delivery of business leader requirements (Senior leaders in Supply Chain)

The Other Qualifications

  • University degree with a financial designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, etc.)
  • 5-10 years manufacturing experience – in Consumer-Packaged Good Industry is an asset
  • 3 -5-year management experience, with successful project implementation
  • Experience managing financial close processes and accounting experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong background in data analytics
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP
  • Strong communications skills and customer service oriented
