Mandate

A person who is responsible for one or more programs for the purpose of providing professional assistance in the development of services. It ensures the research activities necessary for the identification and evaluation of resources and needs. It designs and proposes development plans and programs with a view to ensuring adequate planning of services. It provides advice on the implementation or evaluation of programs and/or services. She can participate in various teaching and training activities.

 

Under the direction of the Vice-Rector for Studies and Research, the person's main functions will be to contribute to the establishment of structures and processes aimed at supporting the implementation of various components of the academic plan of the Université de l'Université. French Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, coordinate and support projects for the development and implementation of programs, services, practices and activities related to the academic plan,
  • Contribute to determining the priorities of tailor-made training programs.
  • Design analysis frameworks, evaluation tools, logic models,
  • Develop action plans, ensure their implementation and monitoring,
  • Identify the needs and the necessary resources in connection with the implementation projects,
  • May be called upon to lead workshops and participate in training activities,
  • Act as an expert advisor on best practices, based on evidence in program implementation and evaluation,
  • Propose structured approaches to support the implementation of new practices, resulting from research results, within the framework of its functions,
  • Participate in needs assessment, program or knowledge brokering activities,
  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and act as an agent of change,
  • Propose methods to support projects for the implementation and use of clinical tools and mobilize stakeholders with the aim of bringing projects to fruition.
  • Evaluate course equivalences between the various programs and make recognition recommendations

Required profile

The UOF is looking for candidates who match the following profile:

  • Hold a university degree in adult education, administration sciences, social sciences or another appropriate discipline,
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in training program development.
  • Experience in project management (an asset).
  • Fluency in French and English; strong interest in multiculturalism

  • Good knowledge and understanding of academic environments as well as professional training, research and university teaching,
  • Mobilizing leadership,
  • Sense of analysis in relation to the information, needs and challenges of the projects entrusted to him,
  • Excellent research and document analysis, knowledge synthesis and writing skills,
  • Professional dynamism and creativity,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ease in interpersonal relations,
  • Ability to manage complex situations in an environment with constraints, imperatives and political issues,
  • Ability to process requests with time constraints and where deadlines are imperative to respect,
  • Ability to adapt to changes, new requirements and unforeseen events,
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English, both oral and written
