Your Opportunity

We are looking to expand our archaeology team with a 12-month contract position. This includes the potential for an extension to a permanent full-time position in future. Work will focus on projects across various service lines in British Columbia.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing regulatory deliverables including interim and final reporting

  • Managing digitally and manually collected field data

  • Actively participating in Stantec’s HSSE programs

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Self-motivated, has excellent technical writing skills

  • Experience in Cultural (archaeological) Resource Management, specifically reporting, an asset

  • Dedicated to following and promoting a strong safety culture

  • Desire to work closely with other environmental professionals and First Nations

  • Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the Sciences or Social Sciences is required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience producing technical reports.
