1. I will review my CV

Whether in form or substance, its important to regularly rework your CV.  What better time is there than at the beginning of the year to get you started, when you are full of energy and goodwill? 2. I will update my social media

Job search resolutions for 2018 involves social media. A recruiter interested in your profile will look deeper by typing your name into a search engine. If the first thing which comes up is a LinkedIn page which has not been updated in three years, there is a risk he will move right on to the next candidate. New contacts, participating in discussions, updated posts, recent courses taken – your activities on social media must be recent.

3. I will get training

Are you lacking a key skill, mastery of software that could be useful in your career, or is it just too long since you have learned new things? Take advantage of time off in your career to take some training.  In addition to letting you acquire know-how, it will prove to employers that you are still active and ready to make more effort.

4. I will expand my search

If you have been looking for a long time without success, maybe it’s time to redefine your search criteria. Accept a few less responsibilities by focusing on quick development, search farther from home, or consider lowering your salary requirements.

5. I will do more networking

6. I will develop my professional project
