The expected base salary range for this position is $70/Hr - $75/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. About the Opportunity: Digital Team is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join its Mobile Banking team. This role will be responsible for business and systems analysis activities on medium-to-large digital transformation initiatives focused on enhancing bank's Mobile and Online Banking platforms. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative Agile environment and partner closely with Product Owners, Technology Teams, Designers, Quality Engineering teams, and Business Stakeholders to deliver exceptional digital banking experiences. The ideal candidate brings strong Business Analysis and Business Systems Analysis expertise, extensive Agile experience, recent banking experience, and a proven background delivering mobile or digital banking solutions. Team Environment: Part of bank's Digital Business Analysis Practice consisting of 80+ Business Analysts Reporting to a Senior BA Manager Lead Collaborative Agile delivery environment Cross-functional interaction with Product, Design, Technology, Operations, and Executive stakeholders Key Responsibilities: Requirements Management & Analysis Lead business and systems requirements planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management. Gather and document business requirements and system requirements independently. Develop requirements plans and provide effort estimates for BA deliverables. Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and systems. Identify business rules, data requirements, process impacts, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints. Validate requirements with business and technical stakeholders. Agile Delivery Manage and refine product backlogs. Create, document, and maintain user stories with detailed acceptance criteria. Assist Product Owners in decomposing Epics into actionable User Stories. Support sprint planning and Agile ceremonies. Maintain requirements and sprint artifacts within Jira and Confluence. Facilitate backlog refinement and requirements workshops. Stakeholder Management: Conduct stakeholder analysis and identify impacted groups. Lead requirements discovery sessions and facilitated workshops. Act as liaison between business and technology teams. Manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints. Resolve requirements conflicts and escalate issues when required. Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain business process maps, context diagrams, use cases, system specifications, and user story maps. Build and maintain reusable requirements repositories and documentation standards. Ensure adherence to enterprise BA methodologies and best practices. Mentor junior Business Analysts and participate in BA Chapter activities. Delivery Support: Support Design, Development, and Quality Engineering teams with requirements clarification. Participate in test planning, defect triage, and root cause analysis. Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience: Must-Have: 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst. 3+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments. Recent Banking or Financial Services experience. Experience delivering Mobile Banking and/or Online Banking projects. Strong experience in both Business Analysis and Systems Analysis. Proven experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements independently. Experience working on large enterprise projects ($2M+ budgets preferred). Strong knowledge of requirements methodologies including: Requirements Planning Requirements Elicitation Requirements Analysis Requirements Documentation Requirements Management Hands-on experience with: User Stories Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) System Requirements Specifications (SRS) Business Context Diagrams Business Process Maps Use Cases User Story Mapping Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions. Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and gap analysis skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline. Required Tools & Technologies: Jira Confluence Mobile Platforms (iOS & Android) MS Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: Previous banking experience. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA). Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Master's Certificate in Business Analysis. Additional Agile certifications. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong facilitation and elicitation abilities. Critical thinking and analytical mindset. Strong presentation skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders. Highly adaptable and team-oriented.
