Job summary
⠀ Under the direction of the Finance Manager, Digital Initiatives, the Financial Analyst supports the financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis activities of the digital initiatives portfolio. The role includes preparing financial reports, analyzing performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with key stakeholders, and contributing to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for: Assist the finance team in various activities, including all phases of the monthly close process and the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports. Partner closely with subsidiaries and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Analyse, reconcile, and validate monthly financial results and key performance drivers. Prepare financial analyses and presentations to support senior management decision-making. Participate in the annual budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes. Monitor the financial performance of digital initiatives and support project-related financial analyses. Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc analyses as required. Minimum Qualifications University degree in accounting or finance. Recognized accounting certification (CMA, CA, CGA). Minimum of 4 to 6 years of previous financial analyst responsibilities, such as financial reporting and analyzing financial performance. Preferred Qualifications Capable of working on projects with little guidance. Consolidation experience. Creative mind/able to think outside of the box. Good analytical and technical skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization. Results-oriented with strong attention to detail. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise and Oracle systems, an asset. Fluency in English and in French. Benefits Group Insurance.
