Building Ontario Fund (BOF) is driven by our mission to unlock enduring public benefit through the design of innovative financing solutions with public, private, and Indigenous partners. To help build a resilient province for a quickly growing population and lay a solid foundation for future generations, our work focuses on transformative projects in six priority areas: affordable housing, long-term care, energy, affordable housing, transportation, municipal and community infrastructure, and critical minerals. Spanning all BOF’s priority areas is a commitment to increase Indigenous participation in large-scale infrastructure projects. A key component of this commitment is the Indigenous Opportunities Financing Program, the longest-running program of its kind in Canada, now administered by BOF.
