Are you an experienced Systems Administrator looking to elevate your career? Apply Now! Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a System Administrator-Cisco UCS/Banking. This position involves managing and automating large-scale infrastructure environments, primarily focusing on bare metal hardware, UCS, Dell, and HP platforms, in a regulated financial services setting. The role offers opportunities to lead automation initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with diverse technical teams to support critical business operations. Pay rate range (CAD): $54.12/hr – $64.4/hr Responsibilities Manage architecture, configuration, and lifecycle of Cisco UCS M7/M8, Dell, and HP server hardware Develop and extend Ansible playbooks for bare metal automation across UCS, Dell, and HP platforms Design and configure UCS service profiles, server pools, and fabric interconnects (VLANs/VSANs) for standalone and clustered systems Serve as L3 escalation point for UCS platform issues impacting Windows and RHEL systems, both standalone and clustered Define and coordinate patching requirements for fabric interconnects and UCS servers Troubleshoot provisioning workflows, both automated and manual, to resolve platform issues Collaborate with SAN team to ensure storage connectivity within UCS service profiles for bare metal builds Work with Windows, Linux, and automation teams to keep hardware-specific playbooks aligned with automation standards Desired Skill-Set Extensive experience managing Cisco UCS M7/M8 (Intersight) and server hardware platforms (Dell, HP) Proven ability developing and extending Ansible automation for infrastructure provisioning and management Strong knowledge of UCS service profiles, server pools, and fabric interconnect configurations (VLANs/VSANs) L3 escalation experience for UCS and server hardware issues Experience with patching and firmware management for UCS and server hardware Troubleshooting skills across automated and manual provisioning workflows Collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including SAN, Windows, Linux, and automation engineers Nice to Have Fabric Interconnect (FI) experience Experience with other hardware platforms Infrastructure automation certification or relevant training Experience in regulated financial environments BeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
