Due to continued growth, the team is seeking a Commercial Credit Underwriter to join its Burlington office. This is an excellent opportunity for a credit professional who enjoys financial analysis, structured lending, portfolio management, and evaluating inventory-heavy businesses. What You’ll Do Underwrite commercial credit facilities and prepare detailed credit memoranda for dealer relationships and lending transactions Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, liquidity, leverage, collateral, inventory levels, and debt-service coverage Evaluate borrowing needs, credit structures, revolving facilities, and overall transaction risk Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, annual reviews, covenant compliance, and special credit assessments Review borrowing-base information and collateral reporting when applicable Partner with relationship managers, credit leadership, operations, and other internal stakeholders Present clear credit recommendations supported by financial analysis and risk considerations Maintain accurate credit documentation, loan files, approval records, and workflow tracking Assist with credit-process improvements and other risk-management initiatives What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, underwriting, financial analysis, or a related field Strong ability to analyze financial statements, cash flow, liquidity, leverage, collateral, and DSCR Understanding of commercial credit structures, revolving credit facilities, covenants, and risk-management principles Strong written communication skills with experience preparing credit analyses or approval memoranda Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred Highly Preferred Experience Commercial floor plan lending Inventory finance or dealer-based lending Asset-based lending Borrowing-base analysis and collateral monitoring Loan documentation, covenants, and security registrations Credit committee presentations and portfolio reviews Why Consider This Opportunity?
