We AIM for excellence.Description du posteWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical financial analyst to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement, supporting accurate accounting operations and informed business decisions. As a financial analyst, you will be responsible for a range of business activities and will respond to ad hoc requests by providing professional, data-driven and actionable analyses What you're responsible for:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform complex account reconciliations and variance analysesSupport month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelingDevelop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), reports and dashboards to bring insightful actionable data and support management decisionsEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policiesSupport internal and external audits, including documentation and audit requestsCollaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teamsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyMentor junior accounting staff as neededQualificationsTo join our team: You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required)You are a CPA or CPA-eligible preferredYou have 3-5+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experienceYou have Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsYou have Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)You have Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, Maximo ... ) You have Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsYou have the Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesInformations supplémentairesWhat we offer :Competitive salary + other benefits;Group insurance coverage from day one and group RRSP with employer matching contributions;Telemedicine (Unlimited access to a doctor 24/7);Eligible for paid vacation from day one; **AIM tuition assistance grants.Company-wide events throughout the year (BBQ, Christmas party, etc.);Free on-site gym;Two on-site cafeterias (subsidized meal program available);Dynamic and rewarding work environment - work on high-impact and meaningful projects while having fun!
